WEIGHTLIFTING
TECHNIQUE CLASS

Improve your snatch, clean, and jerk technique under the guidance of expert coaches using the best available science.

In each class, you will:
  • learn the hows and whys of efficient technique,
  • learn and practice our most effective drills,
  • practice the full lifts under the watchful eyes of our coaches.
Each week you'll focus on a different lift: One week, the snatch. The next week, the clean. The following week, the jerk. You'll repeat the cycle with different phases of the lifts using a variety of our most effective drills. Each hour-long class will include conceptual and scientific overview, guided warm-up, technique drills, and practice of the full lift (or partial lift in some cases).

Whether your goal is to learn anew or simply practice what you already know, we encourage you to attend as often as you wish.

Who: All experience levels, including beginners, are welcome.*
When: Every Saturday morning, 9-10 a.m.
Where: Waxman's Gym
Capacity: Limit of 12 people per weekly class
Rates: Single class pass = $30/class
Six class pass = $22/class

With your class pass, you may attend any instance of the class as your schedule allows. You need not attend consecutive classes. Once you've purchased the pass, you may email or call us to reserve your spot in any week's class.

*Note: This class is designed for a wide range of experience levels including beginners, however there are some prerequisites. To be eligible for the class, you must be able to overhead squat, front squat, and have a minimum of three months experience performing the snatch and clean with a standard barbell.
